CAD / BIM software ecosystem
We work in the platform your team already uses, and deliver native files ready to drop back into your workflow.
Your workflow stays familiar. The deliverables stay usable.
The platforms aren't isolated products. Each one sits inside a drafting, modelling, detailing or coordination workflow — select a platform to see where it fits.

BIM
A conceptual workflow — not every project follows this exact sequence.
Explore RevitStep through each platform's workflow, then open its page for the detail.
2D / 3D CAD
Widely used 2D drafting and documentation software, applied across mechanical, structural, architectural, civil and electrical drafting.

2D / 3D CAD
Widely used 2D drafting and documentation software, applied across mechanical, structural, architectural, civil and electrical drafting.
BIM
Building Information Modelling software used for coordinated architectural, structural and MEP modelling and documentation.
Mechanical CAD
Parametric 3D mechanical CAD software used for part and assembly modelling, sheet metal design and manufacturing documentation.
Mechanical CAD
Parametric 3D mechanical CAD software used for product design, assembly modelling and manufacturing documentation.
Structural BIM
Structural detailing software used for structural steel and concrete shop drawings, erection drawings and structural BIM models.
2D / 3D CAD
CAD platform commonly used in infrastructure and utilities projects, supported for drawing conversion and documentation.
Civil CAD
Civil engineering design software used for site, subdivision, road and stormwater design and construction documentation.
BIM Coordination
Model review and coordination software used for federating multi-disciplinary BIM models and running clash detection.
Architectural BIM
Architectural BIM software used for building design documentation and 3D architectural modelling.
Mechanical CAD
Cloud-based 3D CAD platform used for product design, mechanical modelling and manufacturing documentation.
Software isn't the service. We use the relevant platform inside real project work — drafting, modelling, detailing, conversion and coordination. Each platform links to the services and industries it supports.

Render CAD Hub works within the platform your project already uses and delivers files intended to fit back into the relevant project workflow. Share the platform and version up front so the set-up can be confirmed.
Existing drawings, models, references or project requirements.
Understand the software environment, standards and required output.
Drafting, modelling, detailing, conversion or coordination.
Review geometry, documentation structure and project-specific requirements.
Return the relevant project files and documentation for the agreed workflow.
The steps flex with the service — review and output depend on the agreed scope.
Three examples of how platforms combine on a project type. They illustrate workflows — they aren't client case studies.

Yes — that is the starting point. We work in the platform your team already uses across the ten platforms listed on this page, and deliver native files intended to drop back into your workflow. Tell us the platform and version when you request a quote so we can confirm the set-up.
Yes. AutoCAD and MicroStation cover 2D drafting and documentation, SolidWorks, Inventor and Fusion 360 cover parametric 3D part and assembly modelling, and Revit, ArchiCAD and Tekla Structures cover BIM modelling with model-derived drawings.
Yes. Existing Revit models can be developed, documented or coordinated through our Revit Modelling and BIM Modelling & Coordination services, with model-derived sheets and schedules where the project needs them.
Yes. Existing DWG drawings can be revised, standardised or developed further through the relevant drafting service — mechanical, architectural, structural, civil or electrical — and legacy or inconsistent drawings can be cleaned up through CAD Conversion.
Steel Detailing is delivered in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD, producing shop and erection drawings, connection details and material or bolt lists depending on the project.
Our CAD Conversion service covers converting PDF, scanned and legacy drawings into editable native CAD, including DGN and DWG drawings with MicroStation and AutoCAD. PDF drawings can also be rebuilt as layered DWG files through PDF to CAD.
Navisworks is used to federate multi-disciplinary models into a single review environment and run clash detection. How well a given model federates depends on the source platform and export settings, so we review the models before coordination starts.
Often, yes. Depending on the service, the project input can include existing drawings, models, point clouds or references, and the work continues from that rather than restarting the design.
